About Gloria W. Boyd
I was born in Radford where I grew up attending our schools and Radford University. I earned a BS degree with endorsement in early childhood education. I taught in a private preschool for four years, in Pulaski County for six years and retired from Radford City Schools after 20 years. I'm married to Dwight Boyd, and we have three adult children who are also Bobcats and nine grandchildren who are a blessing. I am a promoter of early family literacy through supporting several Little Free Libraries, created a non-profit Project CRIB (Creating Readers Infancy and Beyond) and recipient of the 2018 Radford Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year as That Book Lady.
