Since being born in Newport News, Virginia, I have lived and worked in different communities across Virginia, Montana, Alberta, Northwest Territories, Arctic Circle, Vancouver Island, as well as Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, (retired to Martinsville, Va. in 2019). Public & Volunteer Service: Second term with Martinsville City Architectural Review Board, first term with Martinsville Board of Zoning Appeals, serviced on Martinsville City Grand Jury, third year volunteering with First United Methodist USDA Food Bank. Career & Business Experience; 17 years Certified General Real Estate Appraiser - specializing in mixed use, commercial and industrial land development, commercial land development market feasibility, representing private property owners in eminent domain; 10 years of the 17 was business owner/operator of Greene Real Property Valuations LLC. 30 years residential, commercial & industrial Construction; specializing in architectural design/build, construction estimating & project management. two years of the 30 was on contact as a construction consultant with the City Of Edmonton (Alberta) Building Engineering Branch; as a senior architectural & construction project analyst; involving project solutions, budget, contractor selections, the procurement of architect & engineering firms, inspection & proofing of bid tender construction drawings, specification & bid tender documents.
