About Chad L. Hall

Restore Professionalism. Rebuild Trust. Move Martinsville Forward. The challenges facing our city didn't happen overnight, and they won't be solved overnight. It will take time, commitment, and leaders who are willing to put the community ahead of politics. I believe the first step toward progress is restoring integrity and professionalism to City Council. If we want to attract young professionals, new businesses, and new families, we must first demonstrate professionalism ourselves. Strong leadership creates confidence, and confidence attracts investment. Our city must focus on growing tax revenue, increasing school enrollment, expanding workforce opportunities, improving housing, and addressing our infrastructure needs. These are issues that require collaboration--not division. I also want to strengthen our relationship with Henry County. We are stronger when we work together. By partnering with Henry County, our tourism organizations, local businesses, educational institutions, and state agencies, we can create new opportunities for economic development, workforce recruitment, and community growth. As a business owner for more than 25 years, I've learned that your word matters. In my world, a handshake still means something. Integrity, transparency, accountability, and respect are not campaign slogans--they are the principles I have lived by throughout my career. I want City Council to spend less time focused on personalities and political disagreements and more time focused on solutions that improve the lives of our citizens. I believe Martinsville's best days are still ahead of us. But before we can truly move forward, we must restore professionalism, rebuild trust, and bring people together around a shared vision for our future. I respectfully ask for your vote so that, together, we can build a city our children and grandchildren will be proud to call home. Restore Professionalism. Rebuild Trust. Move Martinsville Forward.
