About Jessica L. Lough
My family and I have called Fairfax home since 2020. I live here with my husband, two stepchildren, and our dog, Clover, and love the strong sense of community and character that make Fairfax unique. I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Michigan. Over the past 20 years, I've led complex programs in technology, operations, and sustainability for the U.S. government and Fortune 50 companies. I work every day to bring people together, manage large budgets, analyze complex data, and make tough decisions about how to use limited resources to deliver real results. I also serve on the board of Earth League International, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting endangered species, and stay actively involved in local issues. I'm running for City Council because I want to shape a strong future for Fairfax while protecting the character and community we value today.
