About Jennifer E. "Jenny" McDonald
I'm a dedicated public servant and community volunteer with more than a decade of experience in local government. Throughout my career I've worked in legal services, public affairs and constituent services, economic development, and project management, building a deep understanding of how local government can improve everyday life for residents. Prior to my current role as a project manager, I was recognized as Loudoun County's Employee of the Month and received the county's prestigious EMPACT Award four times for outstanding public service and organizational impact. Public service isn't just what I do. It's who I am. I'm a graduate of Winchester's Civic Leadership Academy and hold a Master of Public Administration and a certificate in economic development from Tulane University. When I'm not working or volunteering, I enjoy gardening, walking my three dogs, attending one of Winchester's great community events, and biking around the city with my husband and children.
