About Jeffrey Maurice Torres
My father immigrated to the USA from South America before earning his citizenship as an Infantryman in Vietnam before he could even speak English. I moved to Hopewell in 1996 and then studied International Business at Old Dominion University. Since then, I enjoyed a career abroad as a nonprofit Public Relations director, an English teacher in East Asia and an Infantryman in Iraq, Korea, Germany and Afghanistan. My graduate studies include Organizational Leadership and International Relations. After travels which involve 33 countries, I returned to Hopewell a couple of years ago and now I teach in our Public Schools and serve as a business development consultant privately.
