About James Vell Rives IV
After graduating from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in music, Dr. Rives earned his M.D. from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He then completed an internal medicine internship at Baptist Medical Centers (Montclair and Princeton Hospitals) in Birmingham, and a psychiatry residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
